Phuket Old Town

Phuket Old Town offers a fascinating insight into the history and culture of the island. The charming old town is known for its well-preserved Sino-Portuguese buildings, colorful street art and lively markets. Stroll through the streets and discover the many sights and charming stores. Here you will find a variety of local shops and boutiques selling handmade handbags, great summer clothes and unique souvenirs. We especially recommend Torry's Ice Cream – a small, traditional ice cream shop serving a wide variety of homemade ice cream, pastries as well as coffee and tea specialties. Combining local flavors with high-quality ingredients, Torry's is known for its unique creations such as Lychee Sorbet, Fish Sauce Caramel and Si Tao Sor.

The viewpoint is located on top of a hill and offers breathtaking panoramic views. This is a popular spot for photographers and nature lovers who appreciate the picturesque scenery and clear turquoise waters.

Access to the Windmill Viewpoint is easy and there is ample parking. A small pavilion provides shade and there is a stand selling refreshments. Compared to other viewpoints such as Promthep Cape, Windmill Viewpoint is less crowded and offers a quieter atmosphere to enjoy the breathtaking views.

Tip: Visit Windmill Viewpoint in the early morning or late afternoon to take advantage of the best light for photos and to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. If you're looking for a bit of adventure, you can also explore the surrounding trails that lead to other impressive viewpoints!

Promthep Cape

Promthep Cape is the southernmost point of Phuket and is known for its spectacular sunsets. The viewpoint offers a breathtaking view over the sea and the surrounding islands. A perfect place to end the day and admire the natural beauty of Phuket. Next to the viewpoint is a small lighthouse and a shrine, both of which are well worth a visit. The lighthouse also houses a small museum with maritime artifacts and offers an even better view from its top.

Tip: Bring a picnic and enjoy the sunset in a relaxed atmosphere. It's best to arrive a little early to secure a good spot and soak up the tranquil atmosphere!

Laem Singh Viewpoint

Laem Singh Viewpoint is a picturesque spot on the west coast of Phuket between Kamala Beach and Surin Beach. This popular stop on the coastal road offers breathtaking views of the sea and surrounding hills. The viewpoint is particularly impressive at sunset when the landscape is bathed in a warm light.

Black Rock Viewpoint

The Black Rock Viewpoint requires a short but steep climb of about 10 minutes, which is rewarded with a spectacular view. From here you can see Nai Harn Beach, Windmill Viewpoint and even Promthep Cape. This viewpoint is ideal for fit and adventurous travelers who are not afraid of a little climb.

Tip: Bring comfortable walking shoes and plenty of water. The steep climb can be quite challenging on hot days, so it is advisable to start early in the morning or late in the afternoon!

The Khao Rang Viewpoint offers a magnificent view of Phuket town and the surrounding hills. This viewpoint is especially beautiful at sunset when the lights of the city begin to glow. In addition to the breathtaking panorama, there is also the Tunk-Ka Café where you can enjoy the sunset over a delicious dinner. The viewpoint is easily accessible and the perfect place for a relaxing evening.

Samet Nangshe Viewpoint

Samet Nangshe Viewpoint is one of the most impressive viewpoints in the region and offers a breathtaking panoramic view of Phang Nga Bay and its striking limestone cliffs. The viewpoint is about an hour's drive from Phuket and is particularly spectacular at sunrise and sunset. The short but steep climb is rewarded with an unforgettable view that is perfect for impressive photos.

For animal lovers, the Phuket Elephant Sanctuary is an absolute must. This ethical elephant sanctuary provides a safe and peaceful home for rescued elephants. The Similan Islands are a paradise for nature lovers and divers. They combine crystal clear waters, colorful coral reefs and an amazing underwater world. Phang Nga Bay is known for its spectacular limestone cliffs jutting out from the emerald waters. A boat trip through the bay offers breathtaking views and the opportunity to visit famous sights such as James Bond Island and the floating villages.
